In part 1 of The Way To Live, Pastor Mark Stermer teaches about the earliest identity of believers—those who followed “the Way.” Long before the name Christian caught on, the church was known by how it lived, spoke, and walked in the path of Jesus, who declared Himself to be the way, the truth, and the life. This message calls us back to that unchanged calling, focusing on the power of the tongue—how our words can bring life or death, blessings or curses. Scripture reminds us that if we desire life, love, and good days, we must learn to watch our mouths, speak with humility and compassion, and build others up rather than tear them down. As we begin 2026, this is an invitation not just to carry the name Christian, but to truly live as followers of the Way!
